Location

Thunder Mountain Speedway is located north of Bottineau, North Dakota, on Town Line Road (49). From Hwy. 5 at Bottineau, travel 6 miles north. The Speedway is located on the east side of the road, just north of Turtle Mountain State Recreation Area. If traveling from Hwy. 43, travel 3 miles south on Town Line Road (49).

IMCA holds sanctioned events in 36 states and one Canadian province and awards $650,000 in point fund monies to their drivers. The organization’s mission is to provide affordable, entertaining and competitive auto racing as a sanctioning body, and is committed to establishing and enforcing fair and consistent rules that will strengthen and promote the racing industry.
